Hey guys. See that? ^^
That’s what happens when you don’t run all week, because you somehow “keep running out of time” (even though you are supposed to be training for a half marathon!) and instead of getting your run finished first thing in the morning because you know it’s supposed to rain today, you spend the day doing things procrastinating on the Internet instead, and are thus forced to put your iPhone into a Ziplock baggy and head out in the pouring rain.
Good news is: I kicked major booty (probably because I wanted to get out of the damn rain), and it was actually really fun. Not as long as I’d like, but it was starting to look stormy and I wasn’t about to take my chances.
Also, I got to use my new heart rate monitor that my wonderful boyfriend gave me for my birthday! I can’t wait to start using it more/for real in my training.
Also, we now have furniture so I’m going to spend the rest of the afternoon cleaning, putting things away (or trying to, we don’t have much room for anything), and making this dark (seriously, see how dark it is in that photo?! and that’s not because it’s raining outside) apartment look/feel more like home.
